We live in a small apartment. We had to put lifts under our bed, so that we could put Rubbermaid storage bins underneath. How do I get him to go through his shorts and pants, so we can give to the needy. He keeps saying someday he'll wear them. Please help!

Go through them yourself. Put the ones away you know he wears and likes, set the rest out show him what you have, tell him that those are the ones you are giving away. Of course I have been married to my husband for 30 years and can get away with this. LOL. Good luck
Sort them by style and size. Pick out the ones you're pretty sure he won't wear and tell him that anything that has not been worn in the next three weeks will go to a charity. If he wears something and likes it, he can keep it.
These are his things, not yours. If they are clean and fit well I would say nothing. If he is a compulsive shopper or a hoarder, these are issues that are easier to deal with when he is just a boyfriend and not a husband.
