I need to substitute peanut butter for 12 ounces peanut butter chips. How can I do that?

No. Substitute another type of chips instead, or maybe peanuts.
Yeah, there is not substitute, chips have tons of sugar and different fat content, they don't have a lot of real pb, just flavoring.
We just substituted 1/3 cup of peanut butter for 1 cup of chips in a granola bar recipe. It worked fantastically! I am so glad that we didn't have the peanut butter chips!
Did they cook all the way through? Seems like you would need to cook longer or add more flour.
Thanks for your comment. I used your substitution in a peanut cluster recipe that called for peanut butter chips. The 1/3 cup of peanut butter worked great in my recipe too!
Thanks so much for letting us know it worked.
