If they were 3 months old, I don't think so. If younger, maybe because vaccines are based somewhat on weight.
Don't take puppy out where other dogs have been before it's had it's parvo shot.

It's very unlikely that a dog would die from a vaccination. They DO die from not having them, however. The vacines that are made now are very safe.

If you've ever witnessed a parvo death you'll vaccinate at least for that.

Puppies are not much diff than kids. They can have bad reactions to vax just the same. My dachshund is the first one I have ever had to have a reaction. He gets ill with fever and chills for about 3 days after, but since we have figured that out, he gets aspirin and benadryl regularly after vax. My vet told me that mini dachshunds are more prone to that than other dogs.
