Raspberry Pretzel Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups coarsely crushed pretzels
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup melted margarine
  • 1 package cream cheese (8 oz.)
  • 1 egg
  • Advertisement

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 drop of lemon extract
  • 1 package Cool Whip (4 oz.)
  • 2 packages raspberry gelatin (3 oz. size)
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 2 packages frozen raspberries

Directions

Combine crushed pretzels, brown sugar and melted margarine. Put into a 9x13 inch dish and bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes. Beat together cream cheese, egg, sugar, lemon extract; fold in Cool Whip. Spread over crust. Mix gelatin, water and frozen raspberries, and when thick, pour over cream cheese mixture. Chill. Can also use frozen strawberries and strawberry gelatin.
