Sour Cream Gooseberry Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. allspice
  • Advertisement

  • dash salt
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups gooseberries, washed and drained
  • 9 inch unbaked pie shell

Directions:

Combine sugar, flour, spices, salt and vanilla with sour cream. Add eggs and beat until smooth. Gently fold in gooseberries. Turn into unbaked pie shell. Bake in 400 degree F oven for 8 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F and bake another 45 minutes.
