This is Peanut. At the time of this photo she was 3 years old. We thought she was a mix. It was years later that we learned she was a Tibetan Spaniel. We got her from the local shelter the day before we got married. She was 2 years old at the time.
Peanut loved just about everything. She would play tug of war with my husband and a sock toy. Her best friend (other than us) was a Lab that lived next door and would jump the fence to come and play with her. She loved to chase the birds and the squirrels in the yard. She also loved going to the duck pond and swimming out to play with the ducks (and yes they did play with her! LOL) Peanut loved ice. Of any shape or size! We'd dump the cooler out and she'd have a ball munching on it! She also collected acorns. All the acorns in the yard (we had a huge oak tree in the front yard). She's collect them all and stash them under the deck, then stand guard and not let the squirrels have any! We always had some upset squirrels!
