Topping:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Mix the baking mix and sugar, and cut in the butter. Add the milk and egg, and beat well for about 30 seconds (by hand). For the topping, mix the sugar with the flour, and cut in the butter and milk. Mix in the peanut butter. Grease and flour a 9x9 inch pan. Spread 1/2 of the batter into the pan. Sprinkle on 1/2 of the topping. Cover with the rest of the batter, and sprinkle the rest of the topping on top. Bake for about 25 minutes. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream. Chocolate is particularly good.

This sounds yummy. I think I'd add some chocolate chips too. : )
Thanks for the recipe.
Baking mix is Bisquick or Jiffy brand mix.
Keeper
Baking mix is either Bisquick or Jiffy baking mix.
Ooh, chocolate chips sound so good, Keeper! Thank you for the suggestion! Grandma, that's a good question. I shouldn't have just assumed that everyone would know what baking mix is.
This sounds so delicious and seems easy. :) Thanks. I'll try this recipe this week!
