This is a favorite recipe of Girl Scout Troops everywhere. I don't know where it originated, but I think I've helped the girls make at least a million of them. They are delicious, and very easy to make. Even children can make them with a minimum of adult supervision allowing them to "make it myself". There are only 3 ingredients which is a real plus when 6 children are in the kitchen.
Melt chocolate morsels in top of double boiler over hot, but not boiling water. Remove from heat. Stir in peanuts and crispy noodles. Mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto foil-lined baking sheets. Refrigerate to harden. Recipe makes about 50 or more treats.

Source: The mother of one of the girls in our Brownie Troop, a very long time ago. We surely did have fun. Now, most of those little girls are mommies themselves.

We've made these using the semi-sweet and the milk-chocolate bits. Both are so yummy and for this self-proclaimed chocoholic, I'll take them any way I can get or make them. Try mixing the chocolate bits or add some of the butterscotch bits. You can't go wrong. We make them every year at Christmas now.

My oh My ! This recipe brings back the memories. Hadn't thought of them in simply ages, but now that you mention it, I'll just have to whip up a batch myself. <g>
