We bought a house that needed to be decorated, so we bought a ton of wallpaper. When we were finished we had 20 rolls left. My daughter and I decided to make gift cards out of the leftovers for every holiday and birthdays. We used the following materials: a paper cutter, a one hole punch, and stamps with sayings on them.
What beautiful cards they turned out to be and we are making some extra cash on the side. This has turned out to be a full time business as well. Who would have thought? Now we have the whole family buying wallpaper for us and crafting as well, so many ideas to use the leftovers from our house.

Please let me see some photos, so I can try it too, this sounds so wonderful!
Lori, I'd love to see a photo of your projects. I've got lots of wallpaper sample books and am looking for ideas. The one thing I've noticed about working with wallpaper is that most tapes and glues don't work on it. Any tips? Thanks

This is a great idea. I have a couple of books of outdated wallpaper
samples (you can get them free from many stores). Just cut to size, place
message on back and voila!

I would love to see one of your cards made out of the wallpaper. Is it possible to send it to my email? Nikki@safelink.net

My best craft tip is using wallpaper to make gift boxes and cards. You can usually get free samples or discarded sample books at wallpaper stores. They make the cutest boxes for gifts.
