Try rubbing with a small amount of denatured alcohol (I have also used rubbing alcohol). I used an old wash cloth and it worked well.

My daughter got artsy one day & got BRIGHT orange paint on my hardwood floor & our grey couch.
Covered alot of area my little artist did.
I used a widget to scrape it up & it worked great.
The couch never recovered lol.

I got dried emulsion up from our wooden floor using my wife's acetone free nail polish remover applied on a cloth. It's slow going but worth it as it's effective.

for a "family" fun night, we all gathered around and started painting. unfortunatly the cat got into the paint, and stepped all around the house.

We are moving into a house and the floor is hard wood but they decide to paint the whole floor red, how do I remove that?

Yes, I agree with the poster about using nail polish remover. It works.

BTW, that story is hilarious! I love your cat's huge ears! He sounds like a real troublemaker (those cats are the most fun to have).

Warning: Nail polish remover can remove the finish off wood. FYI.
:)
