I found this little guy on the handle of my grill after staining my patio. I thought it was a piece of tree bark, and then thought it was an unusual stone. I went to pick it up, and it was soft...ewww.
I thought it was a toad, but my friend set me right; it is a tree frog. I think he was playing dead, because he did not even open his eyes. Maybe he was sunning himself, LOL.

Thanks for sharing this pic of him. I always hear them at night but I've never seen what one looks like. He was probably sleeping because they're awake all night long. :)
