If you don't have enough time for a pet, don't let that stop you. Hire someone you know and trust to come to your house and take care of some of the pet basics while you're at work. They can feed your pet and give them water. Also a lot of animals get mean and bad if they don't get enough attention.
Look at my happy pet in the picture because I took my own tip.

I agree about getting a pet sitter if you are too busy at work to take care of your pet properly. Some one to look in and give some excerise and follow through with housebreaking a new dog or puppy can relieve stress and anxiety in any dog. Usually a good walk in included in a visit from a professional sitter.
