I made this for my mom, who has 14 grandchildren.
Take a white full apron. Using permanent paint markers, write on the top portion "If you feed them, they will grow" [or other title, such as "MeMe's garden"] On the bottom of the apron, draw a garden with different flowers in a row. On the stem of each flower, vertically, write the name of one grandchild and top with a daffodil or tulip blossom.
My Mom has used, washed and even bleached her apron and the colors remain true!

Great idea .. My mother in law would love something like that! I think I'll print out pictures of each grandkid on iron on paper to use as the center of each flower instead of the name! Thanks for the post!

Wow........what a great idea!!! thanx for sharing :0)
Thank you great idea for mother's day! My mother in law loves this type of personal gifts.
You could also use each child's handprint as the flower. Draw the stem and leaves and top with the child's handprint.
You thought of a good idea and I think she loved it, of course, and did she use it?
Was it your idea too? Anyways great gift.
