I have a 6 month old Catahoula and Border Collie mix puppy. We are concerned because it sleeps all day. We both have had dogs before and never have we had one so calm. Our question is does our puppy suffer from depression, considering that both Catahoula and border Collie breeds are very high strung?

Just like with people different amounts of sleep is needed. Puppies sleep 15 to 18 hours a day. Adult dogs sleep 12 to 16. I doubt there is anything to worry about and you're Blessed to have a nice calm puppy. ;-)
