Since I have a very large dog, we buy dog food in 40 pound bags. I have tried different storage ideas, this seems to work best for us. I use a stainless garbage can (purchased new of course). Since he has his own corner with elevated bowls, I keep the can right next to them with a scoop inside. It matches my kitchen and keeps his food fresh.
