I've been crafting and creating with old t-shirts. I've been getting lots from my friends and families but resources are running thin. I've also bought some from my local thrift shops. The shirts I'm looking for don't need to be in great shape whatsoever since I cut them up anyway. Does anyone have a good sources or ideas to get used, cheap, or free t-shirts? Thanks so much!

You would enjoy freecycle.org. You join and then you usually have to offer something first, and then you can request the t shirts. I am sure that is one thing people are always giving away on freecycle. I use it all the time to get rid of clothes and such and I have received lots of things, including a ferret cage which my ferret loves!

Also check craigslist.org.
You can also post free ads on this website.
Go to rummage sales. They have some good bargains and you can always ask if they will make you a deal.
Well, it's Winter now so there probably aren't any garage or yard sales going on and especially in Michigan ;-) but you could pick up a bunch in the Spring to stock up on for probably a dime a piece :-) In the meantime, maybe call local churches and ask if they have any that were donated to them that they would be willing to to donate to you in exchange for maybe donating a craft you've made, or will make, to them for their rummage sales ;-)
Just wondering what kind of crafting you do with the old t-shirts.
Hey All - Thanks for the great ideas. I've posted on Craigslist & Freecycle. Got some free tees from a freecycler today. Thanks much! Karen
