Are you able to paint teak wood once it has oil on it? I do not like the oil look. What can I do?

First remove as much oil as possible with lacquer thinners and many rags. Let it dry, put on a primer and then paint. I won't paint Teak, what about some clear varnish?
Yes, wipe it down with White spirit, and then paint lightly, then paint again. Finish with clear lacquer. However, why paint teak. It is so beautiful when nourished.
