Rinse shredded potatoes well then squeeze out all the water. Place in a bowl and add onion, flour and egg. Mix until evenly distributed. Heat a bit of oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Place potatoes in pan in about a 1/2 inch thick layer. Cook until browned on the bottom and flip over (about 5 minutes per side). Remove from pan and drain on paper towels. Season with salt and pepper. *I like to add a dash of garlic powder to mine! Up to you!
