Combine all ingredients and 1 teaspoon salt; mix well. Shape mixture into loaf. Put in 12x7 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 1/4 hours. Serves 6-8.

This is your basic, yummy loaf. If you find it doesn't hold together too well (although still great tasting), saute the onions before adding to mixture. Also, be sure to let loaf stand about 5-10 minutes before slicing or removing from pan. Cay from FL (01/17/2008)
