Bronze Post Medal for All Time! 204 Posts

Try this quick and easy recipe for fudge. It makes a great holiday gift, or just eat it yourself if you're having a meltdown day.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions

Melt chocolate over boiling water in the top of a double boiler. Remove from heat and stir in the can of sweetened condensed milk and nuts (if desired). Press a sheet of wax paper into an 8 x 8 inch square baking pan. The wax paper will lay across the bottom and up the sides. Spoon the fudge into the pan and spread to the edges. Refrigerate for a couple of hours, or until firm, then remove fudge and wax paper from the pan and cut the fudge into squares. It will peel off the wax paper nicely.
