Keeping Foods from Burning in Pan

This seems so simple and easy, I don't know why I didn't think of it much earlier. Whenever you are cooking something that tends to burn very easy, like candy, instead of using a spoon, use a flat ended spatula. This scrapes a broader path across the pan bottom and makes things less likely to burn.
