Keesha was a 15 year old Keeshound/Shepherd mix. We bought her from a breeder in 1995. She loved to cuddle and be close to her family. She also loved to chase critters out of her yard. Keesha passed away on November 11, 2009. She was very loved and is sorely missed by our family.

I share your grief. I too lost my fur baby of 14 years this month. They give so much and ask for so little in return.
So sorry for your loss. Losing a pet leaves a big hole.

Keesha was a beautiful girl! We lost our lab mix, Suzie, a year ago and still miss her every day. I know how you feel. Find another dog at a shelter who needs a home in her honor.
We had a dog that was Shepherd/Keeshond mix who looked just like yours except she was more blonde. She was a big girl like a shepherd and so sweet. Her favorite thing was chasing a ball and going to the park. We have lost dogs from old age, but losing her was one of the hardest losses.
I too share in your grief. I see Kido (who was a 135 lb. male Keeshound/Shepherd mix) in Keesha's beautiful face. Kido would have turned 13 yrs. old on 2/17/10. As the end grew near on 1/29/10, just before 6 am, he looked into my tearful eyes as if to say; "I love you, and will miss you too." Memories of Kido will remain with me forever.
