This is really tasty spread on veggies, crackers, or tortilla roll ups. If you would like to thin this to use as a dip for tortilla chips or potato chips, then change out the cream cheese to 4 ounces of cream cheese and 2 ounces of sour cream. You can substitute the fresh jalapeno with canned diced in a pinch ;-)
Ingredients:
- 6 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 2 Tbsp. lime juice
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp. packaged ranch dip mix
- 2 tsp. fresh jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 tsp. crushed or minced garlic
- salt, to taste
Directions:
Mix cream cheese and lime juice until smooth. Add cilantro, ranch mix, jalapeno, and garlic. Mix until ingredients are well incorporated. Season with salt and serve.
