Ladies, do you think bras with wire are better than the sport bras? I thought sport bras were for wearing when you are exercising, but a saleslady told me sport bras are becoming more popular for everyday wear. What do you think?

I only wear sports bra's. They are more comfortable no pinching, binding or digging into my sides or shoulders. Just all around comfort.
I think it all depends on the size of the boobage involved. I prefer underwire for better support & shape. Sports bras make me look oddly flattened. They do make underwire bras without the wire now if you thought underwire bras were uncomfortable or not as long lasting.
In my experience friends with smaller "girls" really enjoy and can get away with wearing sports bras for every day use. I tend to be in the camp with sizable "girls" and find that I suffer terribly from "uni-boob" when I wear a sports bra so I wear them only in the gym.
Well, my girls are large. If I am going out in public and I care how some may think, I wear an under wire support bra. Otherwise, even though Eva & Ava are large I wear sports bras.
I think it depends on your breasts. Ample bosoms can really use the support and definition of a "real" bra. Sports bras are comfy, and if you are small chested, go for it.
I wear sports bras because they are more comfortable. When I want to look nicer, I wear a regular bra.
I have always felt that underwire bras were the most uncomfortable thing that was ever devised. I have never had an underwire bra that didn't eventually poke through. Go for comfort!
I'm allergic to the elastic used in bras, so I often wear sports bras around the house, grocery shopping, etc. I wear underwire bras when I go to work or out, since they only have elastic in the back.
I wear sport bra often also because they are very comfortable, those bras with wires in them becomes very uncomfortable after a few wears.
Sports bras are great, but with larger breasts you do have an issue of "uni-boob".
I have very large "girls" and love sports bras. There are no underwires in my undie drawer!! I select only sports bras that have the cup shape or center stitching of some kind. I do have some older ones that really cause the "uni-boob" issue. This is easily solved by tying a ribbon or string in the center of the bra, causing a gathering that helps keep your breasts separated.
What brand or type of Sports bras do you wear for everyday wear? I have found that with my breast pain sports bras are the only way to go, but they have stop making my favorite ones!
