Recycled Angel Windchimes

A windchime made from mostly recycled stuff.

Approximate Time: 1 hour plus drying time

Supplies:

  • cork candle top
  • paint
  • eye hooks (6)
  • string

  • 6 chimes (mine are metal)
  • rocks, beads
  • glue gun

Instructions:

First thing I did was paint the cork top.

Next, I put a large bead on each piece of string.

Then I tied the piece of string to 5 chimes and a shorter piece as an anchor to the 6th chime.

I glued a rock at bottom of 6th string for mine, but charms work, too.

Then I tied the 6 strings to the eye hooks and screwed them to the cork top.

Then I glued my cherub/angel on the top and glued rocks around the cork top.

I glued a piece of long string to each of his wings and tied them at the top.

NOTE: You can tie the string to a keyring also, I just didn't have any left. And beads look really nice around the edge.
