I love knitting with wooden needles, but am not happy with the Clover brand available locally. Does anyone have a favorite brand, and if so, where are they purchased? Thanks.

I've been knitting for many years and have never used wooden needles. I prefer aluminum.
webs.com has wooden needles made out of hardwood and some with ebony. They can be a little pricey but you'll have them forever!
I love mine! Sadly, I don't remember what brand they are but I found them at my local 'Craft Warehouse' and they were the only brand that they carry. I hope you have one in your area and if you're not sure if there's one in your area just google 'craft warehouse location'. I hope this helps.
