Getting Fish Smell Off George Foreman Grill?

I have a George Foreman grill and someone cooked fish it in. I have tried cleaning it but it still smells like fish.

I am not a big fan of fish. Does anyone have any tips for removing the smell? Thanks, Diane

Spray with vinager and then sprinkle with baking soda let sit for a few minutes and rinse.

Heat it up to maximum and keep it hot for an hour or so. The fish odor will burn away.

Turn the forman on and warm up the burner then unplug it and pour a lot of lemon or lime juice on it. It will totally clean that nasty smell off of it.

Might need to do it a couple of times but it beats having that hint of fish smell on all your food.

I tried the lemon, vinegar and baking soda and I think they helped. BUT, what did the job was a pancake batter. I had made waffles and kept some of the batter to the side and poured that on it, cooked it for a few minutes, then left if cool closed and it did the job.
