Nasha (Rottweiler - Dachshund)

Nasha is nearly 15. She is a Rottweiler and Dachshund mix. We got her when she was a month old, and my children were 4 and 7. The children are now 18 and 21. Nasha has literally been a family dog, that has grown up with our children and watched them move, just as myself and husband have.

Nasha chews rawhides, chases our family cats, and plays keep away with them. She can also fetch and shake hands. She is very smart and can untangle herself from around a tree with voice commands to go around the other way until untangled. Nasha was also taught to bark if anyone raises their voice or makes a fist and distract the agitated person so they stop what they are doing to her. Nasha was also trained to bark at fire.
