When we moved 5 years ago, my Corelle dishes were all white. However, after time using the dishwasher that was in the house, my dishes have turned dingy gray, especially on the bottom and around the edges. I've tried baking soda (that worked on my glasses) to no avail. Today, while hand washing them I thought 'let's see what vinegar does. So I poured some in a dishpan and put some bowls in - and lo and behold - they came out white.

Thank you very much for that tip... I will try this with my all white Corelle dishes too! I have 'had' some success with Bar Keepers...
I use Bar Keeper's Friend too! Like the first post. I add vinegar in my dishwasher but didn't think to use as a whitener. Thanks a lot. My dishes are the same.
Back and edges are dingy! I use vinegar on just about everything. Didn't think of using on my plates!

My white soup bowls are gummy around the top. I will try the vinegar! Thanks!
Years ago they had a baking soda type cleaner called "Delete" that you could just sprinkle on it and tah dah it was gone. Can't seem to find this product on the market anymore. Thanks for sharing your trick
My dishes are 15 years old. About every other year I soak them in vinegar water and then use a cloth to rub off the built on soap and rust. They turn out like new.
My Corelle dishes have also turned gray and dirty looking after using the dish washer. I have found that the magic erasers work well at removing this.
Thank you I just picked up 4 bowls at the thrift store. They looked dirty on the outside so I figured I could just wash them but no it didnt come off. Ill go buy some vinegar and I hope I have luck like you did.
