We have a huge oak tree standing right behind our screened in porch. The last couple of years not many acorns fell off. Now this year lot of bark is falling off. Does anyone know what's going on with it? It looks healthy. Thanks.

I have a friend that believes in weed/feed distribution on her grass every year. After 10 years of this process all of her broad leaf trees are dying with the final stage of death being bark sloughing off.
