Quick, easy, and good.
Put a small amount of water in bottom of frying pan. Add hamburger and cook until brown. Drain grease.
Add minced onions, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 1/3 cup water, and enough ketchup to make a really sloppy sauce. Simmer for about 10 minutes
Serve on a hamburger bun or on top of a baked potato.

I made this just like the recipe stated and put it over a baked potato. It was great!
Glad you liked it.
I use just chili sauce in my sloppy joes. A couple of bottles of chili sauce (Note: make sure it is chili sauce NOT cocktail sauce). It is sweet and cheaper than ketchup and makes the sloppy joes better than Manwich. My aunt taught me this when I was a child.
I have used your recipe several times to make Sloppy Joes. I LOVE it! I think I could eat this every day. I go by the recipe and it is wonderful. Thank You for sharing with us.
