We use battery powered toothbrushes but I could not find tooth brush holders to accommodate them. I bought cheap salt and pepper shakers that were about 4 inches tall. I tossed the cap, and glued ribbon around the threads at the top. Takes up very little counter space and looks nice.

I am so glad that you brought this up. I had never thought of using pepper shakers for this. Great idea!
They also make neat little holders for make up brushes and pencils, although I hadn't even thought about adding riboons to them! Bet I could glue some tiny shells to them to match my bathroom theme. I've got to pull out my glue gun! Thanks for the idea!
