Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 lbs. hamburger
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Advertisement

  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Directions

Put ketchup, water, chili powder in saucepan over direct heat and boil 7 minutes. Add hamburger, onion, mustard, salt and pepper. Stir until hamburger is broke up. Cook about 30 minutes.

Is the hamburger already cooked and drained when putting it in with the ketchup, water and chili powder? If not, I would think the mixture would be very greasy.

I have to agree that this does not sound very good.
I'm surprised; usually Robin's recipes are very good.
