Getting Antique Musical Instruments Appraised?

I have some old fiddles left to me by my dad. One I know is over 100 years old. How do I get it appraised?

I don't have an answer, but you might try calling this place in Tucson and ask them for leads on where to take your cool fiddles. I'll type out what our yellow pages says for you:
The Folk Shop

I saw a nice feature on one of our TV stations about these guys and I wanted to go in just to see what more they had hanging on the walls. Good Luck! I hope this gets you going.

Contact your local school's Orchestra Director. She/he being a musician will know where to send you.
