RE: Freezer Cucumber Recipe

It reminds me of what we called 'Refrigerator Pickles':
allrecipes.com/.../Detail.aspx

I have never tried it but there is also something called Freezer pickles:
www.americanprofile.com/.../freezer-pickles.html

Last week I bookmarked a recipe to try for Freezer Coleslaw:
www.dianaskitchen.com/.../slaw.htm

You could go to google.com and put in recipe freezer pickle for more variations.

I have made this Garden Salad, could this be it? Never thought about freezing it though. Here it is...

Garden Salad

Date: 04/18/2008

Ingredients

1 cucumbers, chopped finely (I used 2)
1 green bell pepper, chopped finely
1 cup onion (can use white, red or green spring)
Dressing:
3/4 cup sugar (I thought this was a little too much)
1 cup vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions
Mix salad ingredients together in a large bowl. Mix dressing ingredients together and pour over veggies. Mix thoroughly, chill and then serve.
