To clarify the answer above, most recipes designed for an 8 by 8 inch pan will work in a 9 by 13 if you double the recipe. Baking time might be a little longer, though, because it'll take the heat longer to reach all the way into the middle of the larger pan.
1 1/2 cups self rising flour,1/2 cup cocoa powder,1 cup oil, 2 cups sugar, 4 eggs, 1/4 cup chocolate syrup, mix flour, sugar & cocoa together thoroughly. Add eggs, oil and choc. syrup,stir until mixed completely. Bake in 9by13 pan @ 350 for 30 min. or till done. Homemade Chocolate Syrup 1 cup water, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, place in medium sauce pan on medium high heat, whisk till mixed completely,add 2 cups sugar, whisk till sugar melts.
