When I have a sheet that is too nice to use in dog kennels, I make it into a double sided small window curtain. If you have a smaller window in your home, garage, or office, this idea would be perfect since you don't need a large amount of material.
You could also use the window covering when you go camping in a tent, bus, camper, etc. That is what I did with a very nice old sheet. Picture included. This window is so small for a tiny bathroom. It used to be an under the stairs closet, now its a 3/4 bath.

I have 108 inch long windows in my Victorian farmhouse. I buy my curtains cheap from ikea.com and they come to me in the mail. I haven't the energy or time to sew curtains. I got long lace curtains with scalloped edges for about $12 a pair a few years ago. I know they still have them. They probably cost a little more now but still, they are very cheap. Enjoy!

Some people make curtains from flat sheets or regular printed bedsheets. Cotton sheets work well as thermal curtains, plus they're a lot cheaper.

To make quick curtains just use sheets that are of a good quality 2-4 per window depending on how full you want them. They already come with finished edges and a place to put the rod through. You can even put tie backs on or valances on top.
