Mix together. Bake at 350 degrees F. Can crumble up potato chips to put on top before baking. Bake for 30 minutes.

Tuna with tasty onions, and sweet basil. I've been making this for many years and often have it requested by family.
Mix everything together. Put in baking dish. Add juice from peas if it looks dry. We add Italian bread crumbs to cover. Bake in 350 degree F oven for 35-40 minutes.

Not really a casserole since you don't bake it but so simple and really good.
Make the macaroni and cheese according to directions on box. When complete add tuna, cream of mushroom soup, and peas. Mix thoroughly and heat till bubbly. That's it!
My husband loves tuna casserole but it was always such a production. This is so simple, he can make it any time he wants it.

Gosh! I have made this since I was a teenager. Great recipe for a tight budget. My family prefers cream of chicken in place of cream of mushroom. I leave out the peas or occasionally use frozen peas. Tastes great with applesauce and a salad.

Cook noodles in salt water until tender. Drain. Flake the tuna with a fork. Mix with noodles, peas and mushroom soup. Turn into greased baking dish. Sprinkle with bread and bake at 350 degrees F or 40 minutes. Serves 6.

In large skillet, saute' chopped onion in margarine until slightly browned and tender. Add tuna, soup, and milk to the skillet. Stir and simmer until it thickens. Add 1 1/3 cups of cheese. Stir until melted. Spray casserole pan with cooking spray. Pour in soup mixture first. Then mix in most of the noodles. You may not use all the noodles so the casserole is not too dry. Add remaining cheese on top. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly edges. Uncover and brown the cheese. Remove and let set for 5 minutes and serve.

Melt butter in saucepan. Add onion, saute' until tender. Add flour and salt. Stir until smooth. Add the 2 cups milk with 1/2 cup dry milk added. Stir until smooth. Mix noodles, peas, pimento, tuna and 1/2 cup cheese in bowl. Blend in cream sauce. Spoon into 2 qt. casserole; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Bake in 350 degrees F oven until bubbly about 25-30 minutes. Garnish with pimento strips.

Hi: Just read your recipe and though it sounds good, I have a tuna casserole recipe that is richer by far (i.e. likely more calories!) but much, much tastier. I don't make a white sauce, just use evaporated milk mixed with cheddar cheese soup, PLUS extra grated Cheddar. I add W. sauce, garlic, Dijon and lots of pepper.
I cook in a homeless shelter and the women LOVE this mixture, even those who don't normally like pasta, eat it and rave about it.
