I have the best yogurt. I actually eat it as a meal. When I had my niece visit, she thought it was "dessert". Anything that tastes good and is good for you is a winner in anybody's book.
I had heard about Greek yogurt being so good for you, as well as the only thing known that helps with belly fat, according to my expert, Dr. Oz. I credit my lifestyle and knowledge about supplements to him. Greek yogurt is like a parfait, it's creamy and doesn't have a bitter aftertaste. It's a wonderful substitute for Cool Whip in many recipes.
I love Chobani Greek yogurt. When I find it's on sale, it is a very good day! It comes in plain, which can be a substituted for whipped cream or other toppings. It can also be served with fruit that is fresh. I love using the pineapple as a base to my parfait. I put it in a bowl with organic granola on top of the yogurt. Don't be shy with experimenting with different granola; from the cheaper ones in a box to ones you can buy a little bit at a time in the bins at your natural foods store. I have been surprised at ones I liked. All are good for you with added things I never thought I would try.
I always keep blueberries frozen in my freezer, I buy them on sale. They stay so good in the freezer so you can buy extra. I use blueberries (fresh or frozen) or strawberries, and bananas are also good. I put any fruit I have on top of the granola. It's easier, but everyone I tell about it loves it as much as I do. This time easy isn't a bad thing.
I can tell you if you have ever have a parfait at McDonald's, it tastes almost the same, but is so good for you. There is nothing bad. I eat flax seed, yeast, and chia seeds. If you do, it's easy to add these to your parfait, if not for taste then for the added vitamins. Enjoy!

I absolutely love this stuff. Have it for breakfast every day. I add granola and toasted slivered almonds. Yum. And yes, pineapple is the best.
