I recieved an entertainment center and a dry sink from my dad when he moved to an apt in october, and both were caked with dust and cig smoke/nicotine. I think the only time they were cleaned in the last 5 yrs since my mom passed away was when my sis and I went and thouroughly cleaned his house for him. I sprayed them with Awesome (from dollar store), let sit a minute, (could see it working) and wiped off with paper towels. When I got them completely clean I took a damp rag, (plain water) and wiped off. They both look like new. It took very little elbow grease and well worth the time it took to do them. HTH.
