Removing Condensed Milk from Carpet?

How do you get condensed milk out of carpet? It is a short-pile carpet. I rinsed it off with water immediately but noticed a few days later that there were white marks on the carpet.

This happened to me once. Try to remove as much as possible with a damp sponge. Then cover thoroughly with baking soda. Let sit overnight then vacuum the next day. It worked for me! Removed that sour milk odor too.
