Everyone received my makeshift bathroom shelf so well, that I did the same with the kitchen. Since I can't see outside while doing the dishes, I can at least enjoy my pretties. This board was 3 inches wide and $.30 per foot, at 6 feet it was only $1.80, and the cans were free, with the contact paper $.50 for a roll of 50 feet, so it was almost not worth mentioning! I hope this inspires someone to do something pretty and functional, too!

Love this idea of yours and know now that I am going to copy it, thanks!
Your idea is so very useful. Thank you for sharing it.
Great idea! Especially for someone in an rented place that does not want to invest a large amount of money on another persons property.
God Bless.
You are absolutely correct GirlNumber5, I was looking for some ideas for my kitchen with less investment as live in a rented home. I have already set my kitchen like this. Surly going to post some pics of my kitchen soon.
