Mckayla is two years old and a Golden retriever. She chose me around Christmas time a few months after we lost Buddy. He was a shelter rescue who was middle aged when we adopted him and then lived with us for another 10 years. We still miss Bud.
The question is "what does your pet like to do for fun?" How much room do I have? She's a goldie, she makes every minute fun for her people, teaching us to throw the ball. If you give her 5 minutes, she'll teach you something new. This highly trainable breed is gorgeous and friendly. She rarely barks, loves our three cats, and walks on a leash like a champ. Our favorite tricks are 'talking' for a treat. Very strange noises come out of her mouth but never a bark. She 'hugs' (lays her head on your lap the word for some scratching), rolls over for a belly rub, plays soccer in the house with two or three tennis balls (one for her mouth and two to kick) I'm running out of room. OH and as you can see in her photograph, SHE CAN FLY!

What a cute pooch baby and what a great photo! :-)
She is such a pretty dog. Goldies are so smart, and I've never seen
one that wasn't beautiful. Thanks for sharing her with us.

Awww...There is nothing like a Golden or a Lab to make a family complete, especially with children. Your fur-baby is just beautiful.

Mckayla is a 3 year old Golden Retriever. I got my dog as a puppy from a breeder in my home state of PA, just outside Manheim, PA. She picked me.
Mckayla's favorite things to do is running through fields and lounging in standing water, any water. Greeting her people, and playing fetch the stick are her favorite activities. She's a funny dog, and very clever. She loves to initiate play.
