Having to change a "stubborn" light bulb from your freezer or refrigerator, not wanting it to break in your hand? Take a hairdryer to it! Aim the air at the base of the bulb's area where it screws in and it will unleash the grasp on the bulb and you are ready to install the new bulb.

Thats a good tip. Thank you.
This was the best advise for taking out a stuck light bulb. It didn't break and it only took less than a minute to do.
Never heard of this tip before. Used it on a table lamp bulb that wouldn't turn at all and it was like a miracle. One minute with my hair dryer and turned right away with no effort. Going to pass this on. Great tip. Thanks.
Certainly didn't work for me. Tried a second time. Still no luck.
Hairdryer worked like a charm! In less that a minute I was able to unscrew the bulb without breaking! I thought it must have been a sticky substance but when I unscrewed the bulb-I saw a chunk of ice covering the back of the socket!
I used your tip and it solved the issue of my stuck refrigerator bulb
The hair dryer worked very well. Troublesome bulb was removed in less than a minute.
