Line a roasting pan with aluminum foil leaving plenty of foil to roll up and form into a sealed envelope. Put the meat in the center of the foil and sprinkle the soup mix on top. Seal the foil tightly and bake at 350 for 2 hours. When meat is cooked, remove from foil and pour the liquid into a saucepan or fry pan. Add the undiluted mushroom soup to the liquid and stir over low heat until it makes gravy.

I put potatoes and carrots in the roaster, brown my meat first, then put over top of veg. and spread mushroom soup over all and then sprinkle beefy onion soup mix over all and add a can of water. Cover 375 oven and do about 2hrs. very good served with rolls and coleslaw
My mom made something like this, but put vegetables right in with the meat. So good with hot biscuits and green beans.
Thank you,

This works great in the crock pot, too. I just use a very lean roast and both soups. Meat just falls apart when done.
