If you are referring to the Knifty Knitter, I have the kit. It is very easy to use and the instructions that come with it are very easy to follow. I have a friend of mine who had never knitted before and is hooked on this product. I have made hats, shawls, baby blankets with booties and hats to match. They even have a loom to make flowers. If you get stumped, there is also a website, which is listed in the kit that you can go to. It gives a demo on how to get started and complete a hat. I hope this helps. It is just a matter of wrapping the yarn around each hook and overlapping the next one to cast off. (04/08/2010)

Archive: Learning To Use Knitting Looms

I was at Walmart and I saw a Loom Craft kit with several different shaped looms. It said that full instructions were included in the kit. The cost was $20.00. I don't really know anything about Loom Crafts, I assume that I use the loom to help me make hats, scarves, etc. I was wondering if anyone knows of this product and has any feedback?

As far as crafting I am a novice. I have just started crocheting and it's coming along well enough. I am teaching myself and have nearly mastered the single crochet. Any advice about this product would be really appreciated.

I have used the Knifty Knitter. I got my mom and sister hooked on it. It is easy enough to do while watching TV or when you are bored. I use mine to make scarfs, hats, and a snowman, but you can make other things too like blankets. Stop by a craft store like Micheal's or Hobby Lobby and they usually have someone there that could help out. Google search the name of the product then + instructions.
