Use Plastic Easter Eggs For Snacks

Silver Post Medal for All Time! 433 Posts

We have all kinds of the plastic easter eggs leftover from Easter. I use them for snack containers. I put cereal, goldfish crackers, small marshmallows, etc.

The title on this tip is one that makes you laugh. For a split second I read it to mean you are supposed to eat the plastic eggs! lol...mm, yummy!

Hum... I just realized something. I'm 58 and need to take meds which require I eat a little something first. My roommate just doesn't get it. I'm not in the least bit hungry, but he will still make me a meal. (I'm unable to cook for myself.) If I were to fill the eggs, they would be just the right size for protecting my stomach and it would make it unnecessary for him to cook so often for me.

(Which he doesn't really need to do in the first place, but you know how it is.)

Sounds like a convenient idea, but I wonder if the "plastic" container is ideal for storing different snacks. :)
