Getting Detergent Stains Out Of Clothing?

My 12-year daughter is about to ruin all of her clothes by pouring detergent directly onto to them when starting a load of clothes. How do you get those blue streaks out? Help!

Hi Pearl, I have found that a non-clorine bleach will get out most any stains. I usually buy it in the powdered form and make a strong solution ... powders mixed with some water use a small pan for soaking. I'll sometimes soak some things for days. I've even gotten out old blood stains. Also, I once thought I ruined a white cotton dress after adding regular bleach to the wash..making it turn yellow.I rewashed it using non-clorine bleach...this again turned it back white just like new! Good luck! Anorman

I'll definitely give it a try. I purchased a box of non-chlorine bleach yesterday. Fingers crossed!
