Orange Pork Stroganoff

This recipe has great citrus flavor!

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 lbs. boned pork shoulder or other lean pork
  • 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • Advertisement

  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • grated peel from 1 orange
  • 1 1/2 cups orange juice
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 pint sour cream
  • cooked noodles

Directions:

Slice pork thinly across grain. Brown onions and pork in salad oil. Mix in flour, orange peel, orange juice, salt, and pepper; cover and simmer 3/4-1 hour. Just before serving, remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Keep hot, but do not boil after adding sour cream. Serve pork surrounded by noodles or pour the stroganoff over the noodles.

Cooking Time: 45-60 Minutes
