This warm and classic treat has a light honey flavor that can be complimented with salt or sweetened with cinnamon sugar!
(I saw this recipe on T.V. when I was about 10 years old on ZOOM! I'm 21 years old now and it's still yummy! LOL!)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Stir together honey, yeast, and warm water (ingredients 1-3) in a medium bowl (that will hold about 3 cups). Mix in cooking oil and one egg.
Gradually add flour and mix to form a dough. Put dough on a cutting board and knead dough.
Take pieces of your desired size(s) out of the dough and roll out "snakes" of dough. Shape into classic pretzels, letters, a coiled snail, a heart- or anything you please! Place them as you make them on a baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray or greased with butter or shortening, whichever you prefer.
For toppings: Beat the other single remaining egg, and use the back of a spoon to glaze the top side of your pretzels. Add desired topping(s)- such as kosher or large salt.
Put pretzels in preheated oven and bake for 10 - 12 minutes OR until the pretzels are golden brown. (Depending on the size of your pretzels, you may need to adjust the time- just keep an eye on your goodies.) Enjoy!

I never thought about making pretzels in to the shape of letters! Very Clever!
Just wondering how many letters/pretzels would one batch approximately make?
kghsave, judging by the amount of flour I would guess three large pretzels.
